ROBERT L. MOORE, JR.

Polemarch

Robert L. Moore, Jr. of Boston, MA attended University of Hartford where he received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He later went on to receive his Master's of Science degree in Information Technology Management from Colorado Technical University. Brother Moore was President of the African American Student Association (AASA) at University of Hartford from 1986-1987 and was also Captain of University of Hartford's football team.

Vision for the chapter: To further the goal of the fraternity in instilling a sense of belonging and confidence to young African American men. Professionally, I am a business owner of TeamLogic It of Suffolk, VA and I am looking to be able to provide opportunities for young technical minds. ♦

ARCELIA WICKER

Keeper of Records

Arcelia Wicker, Jr. of Wilmington, NC served in the United States Navy for 25 years as a healthcare leader and administrator. His naval career encompassed an array of healthcare roles including financial management, health benefits planning, global health project planning, and partnering with medical professionals around the globe.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Hampton University and a Master’s degree from Old Dominion University. He also earned the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) through the American College of Financial Services and currently serves the Hampton Roads community as a fee-only financial planner.

Vision for the chapter: Kappa’s mission aligned with the communities we serve. Building relationships and strengthening the Bond among the Brothers throughout the community. ♦

ROBERT HARGRAVES

Vice Polemarch

Robert E Hargraves, Jr. is a native son of Portsmouth, Virginia. Robert is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High school. Immediately after graduation, he entered the United States military in which he served our country for 12 years before being honorably discharged in 2007. While in the military, he enrolled at Norfolk State University in which he pursued a degree in Special Education. He graduated from Norfolk State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Special Education ED/LD and Psychology.

Robert is an initiate of the Portsmouth Suffolk Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Vision for the chapter: Continuing to build a strong bond amongst brothers and making an impact in the community.

L. DARNELL SPICELY

Assistant Keeper of Records

Darnell Spicely of Norfolk, VA obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Virginia State University. Brother Spicely explains himself as humble and quiet but very hard-working. He is a strong supporter of all Kappa endeavors and has served on a number of committees and held numerous positions. ♦

DONALD LARRIMORE

Assistant Keeper of Exchequer

Donald Larrimore of Gloucester, VA obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Norfolk State University. Brother Larrimore was also the US Army Master Instructor Radar Division. He describes himself as a self-starter who will give 100% to ensure the chapter and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity remains the premier chapter and Fraternity. ♦

DECOSTA A. HOLMES

Strategus

Decosta A. Holmes of Augusta, Georgia attended Albany State College, University of the State of New York and University of New Haven. Brother Holmes has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations. He is also a United States Navy veteran, where he was a Master Chief Petty Officer and retired from the Virginia Employment Commission. ♦

ALVIN K. LEE

Lt. Strategus

Alvin (Al) K. Lee of Franklin, Virginia is a Distinguished Military Graduate from Hampton University with Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Quartermasters Corps of the United States Army. He holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and a graduate of the Army Command & General Staff College. He retired from the United Sates Army in 2005 attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel after twenty-one years of service. He served in various Senior Management positions ranging from Program Manager to Logistics Management Chief. His technical and managerial career skills netted over 30 plus years of federal service retiring as a Senior Logistics Manager for United States Army Forces Command. Al is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc.

Winston Odom

Chair of the Historian

Dr. Winston Odom of Gatesville, NC attended NC A&T State University, the University of Virginia, and Virginia Tech. In addition to receiving his Bachelor of Science degree he later went on to receive a Certificate of Advance Studies, Masters of Education & Doctor of Education. Brother Odom has received numerous awards and achievements including the Portsmouth/Suffolk Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Brother of the Year, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Martin Luther King, Jr. Education Legacy Award, and an ELP Virginia Fellow just to name a few. ♦

Vision for the chapter: Devoted family man, retired educator and business owner who strives to methodically strengthen our chapter for the purpose of serving the community through an alignment with the vision and mission of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
